Computer Science Researchers from Boston’s NE University proved that websites track online shopping habits and charge customers different prices depending on what type of device they use (IE Apple or Android) to access their website. Retailers can and do adjust their prices based on your location, with some higher income areas receiving discounted prices. Retailers such as Home Depot, Sears, JCPenney, Macy’s, CheapTickets, Orbitz, Priceline, Expedia, and Travelocity are just a few companies that have been known for price alterations depending on what type of device your using.
